Company Milestones

Over the last 29 years, AAE has had many milestones that have shaped our company today. 


2015

  • Aug 1 2015 - AAE name is changed to Atlantic Automotive Manufacturing, dba Atlantic Automotive Engineering.
  • July 2015 - AAE is acquired by CRP Industries, Inc. John Treece remains as President, Maria Treece named General Manager.
  • May 2015 - AAE names Ted Grillo as Assistant Plant Operations Manager reporting to Tommy Rutherford, Plant Operations Manager. 
  • May 2015 - AAE rejoins APRA.
  • March 2015AAE is Awarded the 2015 United States Excellence Award for Excellence in Developing Customer Solutions by the USCTRI.
  • February 2015 - AAE Launches EPS Diagnostic Testing Systems for Electronic Power Steering Systems in exclusive cooperation with ATG.

 

 

 

2013

  • * Launched first EPS product offering at AAPEX.

 

 

 

 

 

2011

  • * AAE started EPS study with North Carolina State University.
  • * AAE relocated Northeast warehouse to Pearl River, NY.
  • * Enters WHI and Activant (Triad) Catalog listings.

 

 

 

 

2009

  • * Launches industry first “New” Rack & Pinion and Power Steering Pumps Program.
  • * Moved to New state of the art 125,000 sq ft distribution and manufacturing facility.
  • * Enters WHI and Activant (Triad) Catalog listings.
  • * AAE launched LPP Production Tracker software in the manufacturing plant.

 

 

 

 

 

2006

  • * Established JV partnership in China for the development and manufacturing of remanufacturing components as well as complete NEW rack and pinion and power steering pumps.
  • * Green fields new and expanded SC manufacturing facility.

 

 

 

2003

  • * Expands power steering pump product line to included a full line Asian program.
  • * Relocates Mass distribution warehouse for expanded coverage.

 

 

 

 

2001

  • * Launches AAE website.

 

 

1996

  • * Launches European power steering pump program.

 

 

1993

  • * Expands rack & pinion program to include Asian vehicle coverage.

 

1989

  • * BMW, Mercedes, Volvo and other European vehicle lines introduced.
  • * Becomes a Rolls Royce rack & pinion remanufacturer.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2014

  • * John Treece named to AIA Executive Leadership Board of Directors.
  • * Signed Exclusive JV Agreement with AIG Europe for EPS development and distribution in North America.
  • * Expanded Production Facility in NC by 25,000 sq ft including a new Customer Service Center.

 

 

 

 

 

2012

  • * AAE expanded Reman component program.
  • * AAE developed and launched magnetic in line power steering filter, MagnaXfilter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2010

  • * John Treece named AAIA Impact Executive of the Year.
  • * AAE expanded new rack and pump product line offering.

 

2007

  • * AAE celebrates its 20th anniversary year.
  • * Opens Arizona distribution warehouse.
  • * Established sister subsidiary company, DMA Goodpoint, a 3rd party distribution and marketing company specializing in the automotive parts industry.
  • * Discontinues CV axle production to focus on steering core competencies.
  • * Awarded SC manufacturers “Green Manufacturing” award.

 

 

2004

  • * Opens Texas and Florida distribution warehouses.
  • * Expands rack & pinion line to include top selling domestic model vehicle applications.
  • * Begins developing specialty seals for the remanufacturing process.
  • * Launches remanufacturing component sales to other remanufacturers.

 

 

 

2002

  • * Company is acquired by John and Ben Treece (current owners).
  • * Name changed to Atlantic Automotive Enterprises.
  • * Relocates business to new production facility.
  • * Launches new TPS quality controls into the manufacturing process.

 

1998

  • * Opens Mass distribution warehouse.

 

 

1995

  • * Launches European gear box program.

 

 

1991

  • * Launches CV Axle program.

 

1987

  • * AAE is established.
  • * Jaguar rack & pinion specialist.
